Buffalo Bills added to the New York Jets’ struggles with a 23-20 win at MetLife Stadium. This marked the Jets’ first game since head coach Robert Saleh was dismissed but interim coach Jeff Ulbrich couldn’t stop their losing streak. Buffalo quarterback Josh Allen led the charge by throwing for two touchdowns and rushing for another. His performance secured a much-needed victory after the team’s back-to-back defeats.

“We found a way to win,” Allen said, though he admitted the team got “sloppy” in the second half and needed to score more points. Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers had a strong performance, throwing for 294 yards with two touchdowns and an interception. He helped the Jets to an early 10-7 lead in the first quarter but Buffalo responded taking a 20-17 lead into halftime.

A highlight for New York was Rodgers’ Hail Mary pass to Allen Lazard but it wasn’t enough to maintain their advantage. Greg Zuerlein’s field goal tied the game in the third quarter but Buffalo kicker Tyler Bass sealed the win with a field goal in the final minutes. The Jets have now lost three straight games dropping to 2-4 and third in the AFC East behind the Miami Dolphins and division-leading Bills, who improved to 4-2.
