Caleb Williams, Chicago Bears rookie quarterback dazzled in London leading his team to a commanding 35-16 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars. The 22-year-old, this year’s top draft pick threw four touchdown passes marking his best performance in the NFL so far. With 61,182 fans filling Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Williams outshined Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence the first overall pick from 2021 in a highly anticipated matchup.

The Bears secured their third straight win, improving their record to 4-2 while the Jaguars fell to 1-5. Williams connected with tight end Cole Kmet for two touchdowns in the first half, pushing the Bears to a 14-3 lead at halftime. In the second half, he threw two more touchdown passes to wide receiver Keenan Allen maintaining Chicago’s firm grip on the game.

Lawrence responded by throwing two touchdown passes to Gabe Davis but the Jaguars failed to mount a comeback. Williams completed 23 of 29 passes for 226 yards and added 56 rushing yards from four carries, highlighting his growing confidence and versatility. The game reflected Williams’ rookie season—starting slowly but building momentum as it progressed.

After struggling early, he found Kmet for a 31-yard touchdown and steadily improved throughout the game. Even after throwing an interception, Caleb Williams maintained his composure and led several key drives. Jaguars quarterback Lawrence, who previously enjoyed success in London, struggled with missed opportunities and turnovers including a key interception by Bears cornerback Josh Blackwell.

Despite Lawrence’s solid individual stats, the Jaguars need to turn their season around as they prepare to face the New England Patriots at Wembley.
