Conor Gallagher made an impactful appearance as a substitute in Atletico Madrid’s thrilling Champions League opener against RB Leipzi, securing a 90th-minute winner. The match started with an early goal from Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko, who headed the visitors into a 1-0 lead just four minutes in. However, Antoine Griezmann equalized for Atletico in the 28th minute marking his 37th goal in the competition with a well-placed volley from 12 yards.

Griezmann nearly scored again but was thwarted by a superb save from Leipzig goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi. As the match progressed, Griezmann played a pivotal role in Atletico’s late victory.
