In the second half, Juventus extended their lead to 3-0. Dusan Vlahovic made a precise pass across the box to Nicolas Gonzalez.
Gonzalez took a touch and then fired past Drommel to score his first goal for Juventus under manager Thiago Motta. PSV managed a consolation goal in the dying moments of the match. Ismael Saibari scored after receiving a fine pass from Johan Bakayoko, but it was too little too late for the Dutch side. Looking ahead, Juventus will face RB Leipzig in Germany for their next Champions League fixture while PSV will host Sporting Lisbon at Philips Stadion.
