Diego Leon to Join Manchester United After Medical in England

Diego Leon is traveling to England for a medical as he looks set to join Manchester United. The 17-year-old from Paraguay, who currently plays for Cerro Porteno, has been seen preparing to depart South America with photos circulating on social media. Sources confirm that Leon is on his way to Manchester to complete the deal. Cerro Porteno and Manchester United have reportedly agreed on a transfer worth around £6m with additional add-ons.

If finalized, Leon will become United’s first signing since Ruben Amorim took over as head coach in October following Erik ten Hag’s departure.
