Dean Huijsen’s Header Lifts Bournemouth Over Spurs

Dean Huijsen’s header secured Bournemouth’s 1-0 victory over Tottenham, lifting them above Spurs in the Premier League standings. The 19-year-old defender scored in the 17th minute heading Marcus Tavernier’s inswinging corner at the back post exposing Spurs’ vulnerability on set-pieces. Tottenham started the match strongly with Dominic Solanke, back at the Vitality Stadium after his £65m move contributing to two of their first three shots. Despite starting well, they lost control after conceding showing signs of anxiety and poor decision-making.
