Reflecting on her career, Morgan emphasized her role in elevating the women’s game, gaining respect for female players and securing better resources. She cited her involvement in the 2022 equal pay lawsuit which led to a landmark deal and sparked a global movement in women’s football. “It created a butterfly effect that is irreversible,” she said, expressing pride in how far the sport has come.

Alex Morgan, who debuted for the USA at 19 has been a key figure in women’s soccer breaking records and collecting numerous accolades.
