Arsenal are exploring late transfer options for Chelsea’s Raheem Sterling and Bayern Munich’s Kingsley Coman as the window nears its close. They have approached both players in the final days of the transfer period. Meanwhile, Newcastle are ready to abandon their pursuit of Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi after they grew frustrated with the ongoing negotiations. Liverpool have rejected Nottingham Forest’s cash-plus-player offer for their goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher.

In other transfer news, Brentford’s Ivan Toney could face uncertainty as the deadline approaches with no resolution yet on his potential move. Al-Ahli from Saudi Arabia remains optimistic about signing Napoli’s Victor Osimhen, which might affect Chelsea’s interest in the Nigerian striker. Chelsea are also closing in on a deal for Jadon Sancho from Manchester United but have set conditions for the transfer.

Ipswich are considering a move for Crystal Palace’s Odsonne Edouard after they saw a loan deal for Armando Broja from Chelsea fall through. Fulham will not pursue Newcastle’s Miguel Almiron while West Ham’s Kurt Zouma is on the verge of completing a loan move to Al-Orouba in Saudi Arabia. Chelsea have shown interest in Benfica’s Tomas Araujo and Brighton reportedly made a £17 million bid for Danish striker Conrad Harder from Nordsjaelland.

Additionally, Fulham are exploring a move for Lille’s Edon Zhegrova, Ipswich’s George Edmundson is a target for Middlesbrough’s defensive issues and Leeds United are nearing a deal for Swiss full-back Isaac Schmidt. Hull have made bids for Norwich’s Abu Kamara and Coventry’s Kasey Palmer while QPR are set to sign Scottish right-back Harrison Ashby on loan from Newcastle.
