David de Gea emerged as the hero for Fiorentina, making two crucial penalty saves in their chaotic 2-1 victory over AC Milan. David de Gea the former Manchester United goalkeeper who joined the Italian club in August, denied Theo Hernandez and Tammy Abraham from the spot. He played a vital role in securing Fiorentina’s second Serie A win of the season. Yacine Adli and Albert Gudmundsson scored for the hosts while Christian Pulisic equalized in between.

The match also featured a penalty save by Milan’s Mike Maignan, a red card for Milan’s Hernandez after the final whistle and the dismissal of Fiorentina coach Raffaele Palladino. In other Serie A action, Napoli continued their strong start to the season with a 3-1 win over Como with Scott McTominay scoring just 25 seconds into the match. Romelu Lukaku also scored for Napoli, who now sit two points ahead of second-placed Inter Milan.

Inter secured their win against Torino with a hat-trick from Marcus Thuram, finishing 3-2. Juventus faced a surprise 1-1 draw with Cagliari, conceding their first goal of the campaign when Razvan Marin equalized late from the penalty spot after Dusan Vlahovic had given Juventus the lead. In the Bundesliga, Eintracht Frankfurt’s Omar Marmoush stole the spotlight in a thrilling 3-3 draw against Bayern Munich scoring twice including a last-minute equalizer.

Frankfurt remains third in the standings, one point behind Bayern and second-placed RB Leipzig, who won 1-0 against Heidenheim. In La Liga, Robert Lewandowski’s first-half hat-trick helped Barcelona secure a 3-0 victory over Alaves, maintaining their three-point lead at the top. PSG missed the chance to regain the Ligue 1 lead settling for a 1-1 draw against Nice.
