Aston Villa’s Kadan Young, an 18-year-old winger caught the eye with a promising display against Wycombe, drawing comparisons to Kylian Mbappe for his pace and dribbling. Arsenal’s Ethan Nwaneri now 17 scored twice in their EFL Cup match against Bolton.

His performance further showcased his immense potential. The EFL Cup remains essential for providing young players like Jack Porter, Kaden Braithwaite, Toby Collyer, Lucas Bergvall and Kadan Young with valuable first-team experience as Premier League clubs balance packed schedules with the need to develop their future stars.
