Julian Alvarez, the Argentine forward, is at the center of transfer talks as Atletico Madrid has started discussions with Manchester City. Meanwhile, Arsenal also shows interest in Julian Alvarez but may need to sell players to fund the move. Additionally, Newcastle aims to secure a deal for Crystal Palace’s England defender Marc Guehi, 24, although Crystal Palace has set a price of at least £50 million plus add-ons.

In other transfer news, Bournemouth has told Tottenham to meet Dominic Solanke’s £65 million release clause to sign the England forward, 26. To replace Solanke, Bournemouth targets Aston Villa and England Under-21 forward Cameron Archer, 22. Furthermore, RB Leipzig has informed Barcelona to enhance their €61 million bid for Spain midfielder Dani Olmo, 26, to finalize the transfer.

Meanwhile, Crystal Palace forward Jean-Philippe Mateta, 27 wants to renew his contract amid interest from RB Leipzig and Napoli. Southampton hopes to keep defender Kyle Walker-Peters, 27, after West Ham withdrew from talks. Moreover, former Aberdeen defender Scott McKenna, 27, who Nottingham Forest released, might join La Liga’s Las Palmas.

Finally, Liverpool seeks at least £12 million for midfielder Bobby Clark, 19, who attracts interest from Red Bull Salzburg, Norwich, and Leeds.
