Maximilian Ibrahimovic Signs Pro Contract with AC Milan

Maximilian Ibrahimovic, the 17-year-old son of football legend Zlatan Ibrahimovic has signed his first professional contract with AC Milan, his father’s former club. Maximilian, who will likely join the Milan youth team next season, aims to follow in his father’s illustrious footsteps in football. Zlatan Ibrahimovic, now retired, enjoyed a storied career across several top clubs, including Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United.

After retiring from professional football last year, he now serves as an advisor for AC Milan where he concluded his career. During his two stints at AC Milan, Ibrahimovic scored 93 goals in 163 appearances and significantly contributed to Serie A titles in 2011 and 2022. Moreover, Ibrahimovic’s career boasts 511 club goals and 34 trophies, including 12 league titles.

Despite these numerous achievements, the Champions League eluded him with his sole European title coming from winning the Europa League with Manchester United in 2017. As a remarkable player, Ibrahimovic received 11 Ballon d’Or nominations throughout his career. Additionally, he holds the record as Sweden’s all-time top scorer having netted 62 goals in 122 international matches.

Ibrahimovic’s impressive career, marked by his exceptional goal-scoring ability and significant contributions to each club he played for, has solidified his legacy as one of football’s greats. With Maximilian now stepping into professional football, he has the chance to build on his father’s legacy, who made a significant mark on the sport and the clubs he represented.

Consequently, as he embarks on his football journey, everyone will watch closely to see if he can achieve similar success and carve out his own path in the game.
