Napoli Pursue Gilmour; Feyenoord Inquire About Traore

Napoli striker Victor Osimhen prefers a move to Chelsea over a potential transfer to a Saudi Arabian club. The 25-year-old Nigerian forward’s preference highlights his interest in joining the Premier League side. England winger Raheem Sterling is open to a move to Manchester United but will delay any decision until he has further discussions regarding his contract with Chelsea.

Meanwhile, Crystal Palace is on the brink of finalizing a £25 million deal, plus £5 million in add-ons to acquire Arsenal’s 25-year-old striker Eddie Nketiah. Scottish champions Celtic are targeting a return for French striker Odsonne Edouard, currently at Crystal Palace. Newcastle United is also nearing a £70 million agreement for Crystal Palace’s 24-year-old England defender, Marc Guehi.

Atletico Madrid is exploring the possibility of loaning Manchester City midfielder Matheus Nunes but has not yet made a formal offer. Georgia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili is undergoing a medical in Spain for a £30 million move to Liverpool. Despite this transfer, he will stay with Valencia until the summer of 2025. Nottingham Forest is considering signing England midfielder James Ward-Prowse.

West Ham, under new manager Julen Lopetegui, does not include him in their plans. West Ham may be open to offers but is not actively seeking to sell him. Nottingham Forest’s £29 million move for Feyenoord’s 23-year-old Mexican striker Santiago Gimenez has collapsed. He turned down the offer, leading to the deal falling through. Newcastle is also trying to secure a loan deal for Burnley’s England Under-21 goalkeeper James Trafford.

Brentford is interested in Fiorentina’s 20-year-old Italian right-back Michael Kayode. They are also discussing a move for English midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain with Besiktas. Napoli still aims to finalize a £12.5 million deal for Brighton’s Scottish midfielder Billy Gilmour. Meanwhile, Feyenoord has shown interest in Wolves’ Mali winger Boubacar Traore. Lastly, Southampton has submitted a new offer to Corinthians for Brazil striker Yuri Alberto.
