WSL (Women’s Super League) summer transfer window commences on June 24th, with significant early activity already underway. Clubs have until September 13th to finalize permanent deals ahead of the 2024-25 season kickoff on September 21-22, where titles, European spots and relegation battles await.

Key transfers include England’s Fran Kirby leaving Chelsea after nine years, goalkeeper Ellie Roebuck joining Barcelona, and Ann-Katrin Berger moving to NWSL’s Gotham. Chelsea secured a two-year extension with injured star Sam Kerr, while Arsenal re-signed Leah Williamson and Stina Blackstenius.

Several WSL veterans are seeking new clubs after contract expirations, including Emma Koivisto, Mel Lawley and Toni Duggan. Meanwhile, Arsenal eyes replacements for Vivianne Miedema, with Keira Walsh and Mariona Caldentey linked. Real Madrid’s Hayley Raso and Aston Villa’s Daphne van Domselaar are also on Arsenal’s radar.

In goalkeeping, Manchester United’s Mary Earps is in talks for an extension amid Paris Saint-Germain’s interest. Chelsea aims high with reported pursuits of Sandy Baltimore and Aitana Bonmati, potentially breaking the women’s transfer record. Barcelona eyes Manchester City’s Laia Aleixandri, anticipating Lucy Bronze’s departure.

Other moves include Katie Robinson leaving Brighton for the USA, while Grace Clinton’s future intrigues Tottenham and Manchester United. Alisha Lehmann’s potential transfer to Juventus adds to the summer saga, alongside managerial changes at Brighton, Leicester and Aston Villa.
