Kansas City Chiefs narrowly escaped with a 30-27 win over the Carolina Panthers in Week 12 marking their fifth game-winning drive in the final seconds this season. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes set up a 33-yard run to set up a field goal as time expired, keeping the Kansas City Chiefs at a 10-1 record. The Detroit Lions also at 10-1 dominated the Indianapolis Colts 24-6 behind strong performances from running backs Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery.

In a wild finish, the Dallas Cowboys ended their five-game losing streak with a thrilling 41-37 victory against the Washington Commanders. With just over five minutes left, the game exploded into chaos with multiple touchdowns and a missed extra point by Washington that allowed Dallas to secure the win. Meanwhile, the Bears endured another heartbreaking defeat, losing 30-27 to the Minnesota Vikings in overtime following a dramatic late rally.

The San Francisco 49ers faced their worst loss in six years, losing 38-10 to the Green Bay Packers, who were led by running back Josh Jacobs. Without key players like Brock Purdy and Nick Bosa, the 49ers struggled, dropping to 5-6. Meanwhile, the Miami Dolphins bounced back with a 34-15 win over the New England Patriots and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers snapped their four-game losing streak with a 30-7 victory against the New York Giants.

Other highlights included the Tennessee Titans’ victory over the Houston Texans despite multiple turnovers and the Seattle Seahawks, who continued their strong season with a win over the Arizona Cardinals to take the NFC West lead. The Denver Broncos also defeated the Las Vegas Raiders with rookie quarterback Bo Nix continuing his impressive season.
