Paris Saint-Germain Thrashes Le Havre 4-1

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) delivered a commanding performance in their first competitive match following the departure of star player Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid. The defending Ligue 1 champions kicked off their season with a dominant 4-1 victory over Le Havre. The match started off strongly for PSG, with forward Lee Kang-in scoring within the first three minutes to set the tone for the game.

This early goal provided PSG with a perfect start as they aimed to adapt to life without their former talisman. However, Le Havre managed to level the score just after halftime, thanks to Gautier Lloris, which briefly threatened PSG’s control of the match. Despite the equalizer, PSG remained composed and asserted their dominance in the latter stages of the game.

Ousmane Dembele, Bradley Barcola and Randal Kolo Muani all scored in quick succession to seal the win for the visitors. Kolo Muani’s goal came from a penalty, adding to the team’s tally and ensuring a comfortable victory. Kylian Mbappe, PSG’s record goalscorer with 244 goals, moved to Real Madrid on a five-year contract after his contract with PSG expired in the summer.

His departure marked a significant change for the Parisian club, and this match was an opportunity for PSG to showcase their strength and resilience in his absence. The team’s ability to secure a solid win in their Ligue 1 opener reflects their readiness to face the new season and continue their pursuit of domestic and European success.

Overall, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) impressive performance against Le Havre underlined their continued competitiveness and ability to adapt, even as they embark on a new chapter without their star forward.
