Plymouth Argyle Earns Dramatic Draw Against Bristol City

Plymouth Argyle responded well to Wayne Rooney’s sudden departure, battling back twice to secure a 2-2 draw against Bristol City at Home Park. Despite the disappointment of dropping points, Bristol City boss Liam Manning praised his team’s positive response especially after Wells missed a chance early in the second half. Plymouth’s caretaker management team of Kevin Nancekivell and Joe Edwards expressed satisfaction with their players’ resilience and Nancekivell praised Pleguezuelo’s determination. The draw leaves Plymouth five points from safety. They will travel to Stoke City next while Bristol City prepares for home games against Derby County and Premier League Wolves.
