The NFL delivered an exhilarating Sunday in week eight, filled with surprising outcomes, high scores and thrilling finishes. The Cleveland Browns with a new quarterback, stunned the Baltimore Ravens 29-24 marking a significant upset. Jameis Winston making his first start since September 2022, threw for 334 yards and three touchdowns leading the Browns to their second win of the season despite their struggles earlier.

In a standout matchup in the NFL, rookie Jayden Daniels of the Washington Commanders topped fellow rookie Caleb Williams, throwing a spectacular 52-yard Hail Mary to secure a last-minute victory against the Chicago Bears. Despite the Bears’ efforts to rally, Daniels’s dramatic throw proved to be a highlight in their 18-15 win.

Meanwhile, Patrick Mahomes ended an 11-quarter touchdown drought as the Kansas City Chiefs maintained their unbeaten record with a 27-20 win over the Las Vegas Raiders. Mahomes’s performance was backed by a strong defensive effort, allowing the Chiefs to improve to 7-0.

Both the Arizona Cardinals and Green Bay Packers secured victories with last-minute field goals. The Cardinals edged the Miami Dolphins 28-27 thanks to Chad Ryland’s clutch kick while Malik Willis stepped in for the injured Jordan Love leading the Packers to a 24-21 win against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Detroit Lions showcased their dominance with a 52-14 victory over the Tennessee Titans, recording the second-highest score in franchise history. Meanwhile, the Atlanta Falcons edged the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 31-26, solidifying their lead in the NFC South.

The Houston Texans swept the Indianapolis Colts and the Philadelphia Eagles beat the Cincinnati Bengals 37-17, putting pressure on the struggling Bengals.
