Tua Tagovailoa the Miami quarterback suffered another concussion during the Dolphins’ 31-10 loss to the Buffalo Bills. Following a tackle by Damar Hamlin, the 26-year-old Tagovailoa exhibited the “fencing position,” a typical indicator of a concussion. Medical staff diagnosed him with a concussion minutes after he left the field. This incident adds to Tagovailoa’s troubling concussion history.

It includes two diagnosed concussions from the 2022 season, which led the NFL to revise its concussion protocols. Despite Tua Tagovailoa’s early exit, several factors affected the Dolphins’ performance. Before leaving the game, Tagovailoa completed 17 of 25 passes for 145 yards including a touchdown pass to De’Von Achane. However, his three interceptions hindered Miami’s offensive efforts.

Bills running back James Cook delivered an impressive performance, scoring three touchdowns and helping the Bills improve their season record to 2-0. The Dolphins’ loss stands in sharp contrast to their previous win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Tyreek Hill, who made headlines for a different reason played in the loss to the Bills. Police detained Hill shortly before the Dolphins’ season opener against the Jaguars.

He later called for the dismissal of the officer involved. Despite this off-field issue, Hill played and scored a touchdown in the Dolphins’ 20-17 victory against the Jaguars. As the Dolphins move forward, they must address both Tagovailoa’s health and their on-field performance. His repeated concussions raise concerns about his long-term health and the team’s stability.

Meanwhile, the Bills continue to build momentum with a strong start to their season, thanks to Cook’s standout performance.
