Larson, gearing up for his Indy 500 debut, impressed with a fifth-place qualifying at the Brickyard before swiftly flying to North Carolina for NASCAR All-Star race, where he finished fourth at North Wilkesboro Speedway. Alexander Rossi, Larson’s teammate for the Indy 500, regards him as a top contender, even likening him to Verstappen.

While acknowledging Larson’s potential, Rossi admits he’d be irked if Larson clinched victory in his debut, akin to Rossi’s achievement in 2016. Despite Larson’s humility about his abilities, he maintains a realistic outlook, expressing doubts about his capability to match Verstappen in the competitive realms of F1 or IndyCar machinery.
