Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik Encouraged to Aim for Paris Olympics Despite All England Defeat

Despite their defeat in the All England men’s doubles final, Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik Malaysia’s top pair have been encouraged to maintain their momentum towards the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. Former All England champion Koo Kien Keat praised their performance and urged them to sustain their confidence and hunger to win.

The duo faced tough competition from Indonesia Fajar Alfian and Muhammad Rian Ardianto who secured victory with a 21-16, 21-16 win. Aaron and Soh are still seeking their first title in the prestigious tournament but their runner-up finish marks their best result this year.

Despite the setback, they are urged to learn from their defeat and prepare for future challenges including the Paris Olympics.
