Neil Warnock humorously compared VAR to the Horizon Post Office software after his Aberdeen team had a potential winning goal disallowed for a marginal offside in a thrilling 6 goals match against Motherwell. Despite Motherwell going three goals ahead within 26 minutes, Aberdeen leveled the score by the 50th minute with both teams having goals disallowed by VAR. Warnock expressed skepticism about VAR and the offside decision.

Stuart Kettlewell, Motherwell’s manager was also disappointed with VAR after Harry Paton’s goal was disallowed. Rangers moved level on points with Celtic in the Premiership after a 3-1 win against Ross County but missed chances prevented them from taking the top spot. Cyriel Dessers scored twice for Rangers securing the win and leveling them with Celtic in points but trailing in goal difference.
