Lazio experienced a tumultuous match against AC Milan in Serie A losing with three players sent off. Luca Pellegrini received the first red card for a second booking after fouling Christian Pulisic.
AC Milan secured the win with an 88th minutes goal from Noah Okafor. Lazio’s troubles escalated in added time as Adam Marusic and Matteo Guendouzi were both shown straight red cards reducing them to eight men.
Guendouzi’s frustration led to an altercation with Pulisic. In total, six Milan players and three Lazio players received yellow cards.
AC Milan is now third in the table while Lazio sits in the ninth position gearing up for a Champions League clash with Bayern Munich on Tuesday.
