Wheelchair tennis world number one Alfie Hewett describes his developing rivalry with Japan’s Tokito Oda as “really good.” They’ve faced off in four of the last five Grand Slam finals with Oda winning three including this year’s Australian Open. Despite losing to Oda four times in a row, Hewett managed to defeat him twice in March.

Hewett acknowledges the importance of gaining confidence from these victories especially with a busy summer ahead. The pair, who have won the last seven Grand Slam singles titles between them are expected to continue their battles at upcoming events like the French Open, Wimbledon and the Paralympics in Paris.
