Andy Murray will not undergo surgery for an ankle injury he sustained last month with no set timeline for his return. The 36 years old Scot suffered ruptured ankle ligaments during the Miami Open and while his rehabilitation is progressing well there’s no confirmed date for his comeback to the court. Murray a three times Grand Slam champion has exited the walking boot and is aiming to resume hitting soon.

Despite not having a return date, Murray remains hopeful of competing again. He has expressed his desire to participate in another Olympic Games before retiring and hopes to make a final appearance at the French Open starting on 26 May. Wimbledon where he has won twice begins on 1 July followed by the Olympics in Paris from 26 July.
