Anthony Kim Faces Tough Week in Jeddah’s LIV Tournament Return

Anthony Kim return to professional golf after more than a decade ended with him finishing last at the LIV tournament in Jeddah. Once ranked No. 6 globally, Kim best round was a 74 on Sunday but he ended 32 strokes behind the winner, Joaquin Niemann.

Despite a challenging week, Kim (38) expressed excitement about his return and gratitude for the opportunity with LIV Golf where he holds a wildcard deal. Although not affiliated with any specific team, the no-cut format ensures him a payday.

Niemann, the winner received $4 million and humorously questioned his status as a major favorite acknowledging his world ranking of No. 72 while LIV event did not receive Official World Golf Ranking points.
