Anthony Taylor has been chosen as the referee for Liverpool highly anticipated Premier League match against Manchester United on Sunday. This will be Taylor fifth time officiating Liverpool this season with the Reds winning only one of the previous four matches.
Despite Liverpool mixed results under Taylor refereeing, he has only overseen three losses for the team in more than five years across 24 matches. Taylor has previously refereed two Liverpool-Manchester United encounters including a goalless draw in 2016 and Liverpool memorable 5-0 victory at Old Trafford in 2021.
John Brooks will serve as the VAR for the match assisted by Richard West, Gary Beswick, Adam Nunn and Craig Pawson.
