Although there is no release clause in his contract for this summer, discussions are underway to determine the terms. Slot attacking style of play, his managerial capabilities and his knack for player development align with Liverpool preferences. While other candidates were considered, Slot emerged as the frontrunner due to his coaching philosophy and track record. Klopp departure from Liverpool at the end of the season prompted the search for his successor.
