Arsenal Summer Transfer Plans: Goalkeeper Shortlist and Striker Hunt in Focus

Arsenal is reportedly considering a three-man goalkeeper shortlist for the upcoming summer transfer window, with former player Wojciech Szczesny being a top target. This decision comes as the club faces the potential departure of Aaron Ramsdale who has lost his starting spot to David Raya. The Gunners are also eyeing homegrown options like Jason Steele and Diant Ramaj.

Additionally, Arsenal is intensifying efforts to sign a world-class striker following their Champions League disappointment. Manager Mikel Arteta is eyeing players like Benjamin Sesko, Viktor Gyokeres, Alexander Isak, Joshua Zirkzee and Xavi Simons to bolster their attacking options. Szczesny a former Arsenal academy graduate could potentially return, although complications may arise due to his high wages.

Furthermore, several Arsenal players including Eddie Nketiah, Emile Smith Rowe and Reiss Nelson could depart at the end of the season. The club is also interested in signing Newcastle’s Bruno Guimaraes and Alexander Isak as well as Ajax’s Jorrel Hato.
