Arsenal's Bradley Ibrahim Completes Move to Hertha Berlin
Arsenal has permitted 19 years old Bradley Ibrahim, a defensive midfielder to depart for Hertha Berlin on a permanent basis. Ibrahim who previously trained with Arsenal’s first team under Mikel Arteta made a few appearances on matchday squads but failed to secure a senior debut. Hertha Berlin’s interest in him led to the agreement indicating a lack of conviction from Arteta.
This move follows a pattern of Arsenal players joining Bundesliga clubs during Arteta’s tenure as seen with Matteo Guendouzi’s loan to Hertha and subsequent permanent move to Marseille. Hertha currently in the 2. Bundesliga has welcomed Ibrahim making him their second English addition alongside Jonjoe Kenny.
Arsenal thanked Ibrahim for his contributions and wished him well. Despite some promising performances for Arsenal’s under-21 team including a notable showing against Brighton, Ibrahim’s departure marks a significant change in his fortunes.
Meanwhile, another Arsenal youngster Lino Sousa is nearing a transfer to Aston Villa while striker Mika Biereth has gone on loan to Sturm Graz after a stint at Motherwell.
