Arsenal’s Dominance: Blackstenius Hat-Trick Secures Spot in Continental Cup Final

Stina Blackstenius secured a first-half hat-trick as Arsenal dominated Aston Villa with a 4-0 victory securing their place in the Continental Cup final. The Gunners took control within 11 minutes with Blackstenius scoring two rapid fire goals and adding a third with a curling strike from 20 yards.

A header from Blackstenius off Lotte Wubben-Moy’s cross completed her hat-trick. Despite a disallowed goal for Maanum, Villa improved in the second half. Arsenal will defend their crown against Chelsea or Man City on March 31. Arsenal manager Jonas Eidevall expressed satisfaction but acknowledged areas for improvement.

Villa’s Carla Ward highlighted disappointment in the first half and individual errors. Arsenal faces Chelsea in the WSL on March 15 while Aston Villa plays Everton on March 16.
