Jordan secured a spot in their first-ever Asian Cup final with a surprising victory over two times winners South Korea. Mousa Tamari brilliant curling strike and Yazan Al-Naimat clever dink both in the second half sealed the historic win for Jordan.
Despite Son Heung-min disallowed goal for offside and a penalty scare, South Korea struggled against Jordan’s high pressing tactics. The defeat for South Korea seeking their first Asian Cup since 1960 puts the spotlight on manager Jurgen Klinsmann who faces criticism from some Korean fans. Jordan will face either hosts Qatar or Iran in the final on Saturday.
