Ronnie O’Sullivan criticized John Astley’s snooker skills after Astley’s 4-2 loss to Mark Williams at the Welsh Open. O’Sullivan working as a pundit,bluntly suggested that Astley lacks a “snooker brain” and good technique advising him to consider other pursuits.
O’Sullivan emphasized the importance of having either a snooker brain or good technique and indicated that Astley possesses neither predicting a career marked by average performances. O’Sullivan’s comments come as he withdrew from the tournament due to stage fright and anxiety expressing regret to ticket holders for his decision.
