Fernando Alonso topped the timesheets in Practice Two for the Saudi Arabian GP putting Aston Martin ahead. Mercedes’ George Russell was second outpacing Max Verstappen who finished third. Aston Martin showcased a strong start with Lance Stroll in sixth. Lewis Hamilton eighth fastest faced scrutiny and a €15,000 fine for impeding Williams’ Logan Sargeant. Alonso’s impressive performance marked a promising turnaround for Aston Martin after a lackluster start in Bahrain.

Red Bull despite Verstappen’s third place displayed strong long-run pace. McLaren finishing 10th and 12th remains optimistic about their performance.
