Barcelona manager Xavi has declared that he will step down if his players lose faith in him. Following a 4-1 defeat to Real Madrid in the Spanish Super Cup final and a current fourth position in La Liga, eight points behind leaders Girona, Xavi expressed his commitment to the club. Xavi, who took charge in November 2021, emphasized his love for the team and his goal to contribute positively. He stated, “If I don’t bring something to the club, I’ll go home. The day my players no longer follow me, I’ll pack my bags and leave.”

Xavi highlighted the importance of addressing problems and affirmed his dedication to Barcelona, having won La Liga in the previous season. Currently facing Unionistas in the Spanish Cup last 16, Barcelona is also in the last 16 of the Champions League, set to meet Napoli. Xavi remains focused on bringing success to the club, noting, “I’m calm. I have three titles to win, and we’re closer to success than failure.”
