Barcelona Narrow Gap on Real Madrid with Win over Las Palmas

Barcelona closed the gap on La Liga leaders Real Madrid to five points after defeating Las Palmas. Las Palmas goalkeeper Alvaro Valles was sent off in the 26th minute giving Barcelona a numerical advantage. Despite Las Palmas’ resilience, Barcelona capitalized on their extra player with Raphinha scoring the opening goal.

Substitute Joao Felix further extended Barcelona lead with an assist to Raphinha. Although Joao Felix missed a chance to secure the win, Barcelona held on for the victory. Real Madrid will attempt to widen their lead when they face Athletic Bilbao.

With only a few games left in the season, both Barcelona and Real Madrid are vying for the league title,with their upcoming clash on April 21 set to be crucial.
