The 42 years old coach highly sought after following a successful season with Bayer Leverkusen seems inclined towards Bayern over Liverpool as he deems following Jurgen Klopp legacy at Anfield too risky.

Leverkusen under Alonso guidance is on track to end Bayern’s 11 years Bundesliga reign. While Liverpool views Alonso as a potential successor to Klopp, the managerial shift may cost Bayern between £13 million and £21 million due to a contractual clause. Alonso contract with Leverkusen extends until 2026.
