Billie Jean King Cup: Top Performances Lead to Finals Berths for Eight Countries

Poland, Great Britain, the United States, Romania, Germany, Japan, Australia and Slovakia secured spots in the Billie Jean King Cup Finals after winning their respective qualifiers. The matches held over the weekend saw intense competition as teams battled for a place in November Finals in Seville, Spain.

Notable performances included Poland Iga Swiatek defeating Switzerland Celine Naef, Great Britain Katie Boulter and Emma Raducanu clinching victories against France and the United States’ Jessica Pegula securing a spot in the Finals with a dominant win over Belgium.

Romania staged a remarkable comeback against Ukraine while Germany, Japan, Australia and Slovakia also emerged victorious in their qualifiers. These results set the stage for an exciting showdown in the upcoming Billie Jean King Cup Finals.
