Boston Celtics Suffer Setback Against Hawks Despite Clinching Top Seed

The Boston Celtics, despite clinching the Eastern Conference’s top seed early suffered a devastating loss to the Atlanta Hawks after squandering a 30 points lead. This defeat, only their second against a team with a losing record this season halted their nine-game winning streak.

While missing key players like Jrue Holiday and Derrick White, the Celtics struggled particularly in three points shooting. Despite their dominant regular season, head coach Joe Mazzulla acknowledges the need for more adversity to prepare for the playoffs.

The Celtics aim to secure home court advantage as they contend for the NBA best record against the Denver Nuggets.
