Limond career spanned various weight divisions and he was set to fight Joe Laws before his untimely death. Limond most memorable bout was against Khan in 2007 where he gave the undefeated rising star a tough challenge. St Andrew’s Sporting Club where Limond was scheduled to fight Laws expressed shock and sadness at his loss remembering him as a legendary figure in the sport. Limond death found unresponsive in a car in Coatbridge, North Lanarkshire is not considered suspicious by the police.
