Brighton and Arsenal Squad Updates Ahead of Clash: Injury Concerns and Key Players

Brighton will be without Adam Webster and Evan Ferguson but Valentin Barco and Ansu Fati are available. Kaoru Mitoma, Solly March, James Milner and Billy Gilmour remain sidelined. Coach Roberto de Zerbi has confirmed Bart Verbruggen will start in goal for Brighton. Arsenal Bukayo Saka faces a fitness test after missing the previous match due to a minor injury while Declan Rice could return to the starting lineup.

Jurrien Timber is the only confirmed injury absence for Arsenal. In head-to-head matchups, Arsenal has remained unbeaten in their last three visits to Brighton. Both teams have won five of their 13 Premier League meetings. Brighton has been undefeated in their last 14 matches at the Amex Stadium with Brighton scoring in 16 consecutive league matches this season.

However, they have won only three of their 18 Premier League games kicking off at 5:30 pm on a Saturday. Arsenal has won nine of their last ten league matches and has not trailed for a single minute in any of their five away Premier League games in 2024. They are also undefeated in their last 39 top-flight matches when leading at halftime. Martin Odegaard has a good record against Brighton while Ben White is set to make his 100th Premier League appearance for Arsenal.
