Brisbane Heat Locks in Key Players for Big Bash League Title Defense

After clinching their first Big Bash title in 11 years, Brisbane Heat has secured the contracts of three key players until the end of BBL|15. All-rounders Michael Neser and Xavier Bartlett along with gloveman Jimmy Peirson have committed to the team ensuring continuity for the upcoming seasons.

Bartlett’s exceptional performance in BBL|13 earned him the title of the tournament’s top wicket-taker. Neser’s consistent contributions with both bat and ball were instrumental in Heat’s success while Peirson’s re-signing adds stability to the squad.

The Heat’s strong bowling attack led by Neser contributed significantly to their victories. Peirson a club stalwart brings experience and leadership to the team. The Heat aims to build on their success in BBL|13 with a solid squad for the upcoming season.

While some players remain off contract the team has prioritized retaining its core members to sustain their dominance in the league.
