Burglars reportedly broke into the home of Premier League footballer Alexander Isak a striker for Newcastle United in Darras Hall, Northumberland. According to The Sun newspaper, the break-in occurred on Thursday evening with Northumbria Police responding to a call about the burglary around 10:05 PM BST. The police stated that the burglary was believed to have occurred earlier in the day with the perpetrators stealing a vehicle from the property.

The stolen vehicle was later found abandoned in the Dissington area with the occupants fleeing the scene. No arrests have been made and authorities are appealing for information regarding the incident. It is unclear whether Isak or his family were present during the burglary. This incident took place just two days before Isak played in Newcastle United 1-0 victory over Fulham in London.

The club has been contacted for a statement. This burglary follows a similar incident three months ago involving another Newcastle United player, Joelinton whose home in the same Darras Hall estate was burgled. Despite not being home at the time, Joelinton received a security alert on his phone.
