Marouane Fellaini has reflected on his challenging debut season at Manchester United describing it as the worst of his career. Signed by David Moyes from Everton for £27.5 million, Fellaini struggled to adapt to the heightened expectations at Old Trafford following Sir Alex Ferguson’s departure.

Despite thriving under Moyes at Everton, Fellaini found it difficult to replicate his form, admitting to mental strain and struggles with performance. However, he holds no ill will towards Moyes acknowledging the opportunity the manager gave him in England.

Fellaini fortunes improved under Louis Van Gaal in the following season, despite a rocky start to their relationship eventually becoming a key contributor to the team.
