Challenging Session: Hamilton Voices Concerns Over Mercedes’ Performance

Lewis Hamilton expressed feeling the least confident he has ever felt with the Mercedes W15 car after a challenging session at the Australian Grand Prix. Despite a reasonable start in the opening session, Hamilton struggled in the second practice, finishing 18th. He faced difficulties completing clean laps and damaged his car during off-track incidents.

Teammate George Russell performed better, finishing sixth. Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff confirmed setup changes failed to yield desired results. Mercedes has struggled to compete since the introduction of new design regulations in 2022. Despite frustrations, Wolff remains determined to improve performance and believes Mercedes can still be competitive under the current regulations.
