Change in the Pits: Charles Leclerc Welcomes New Race Engineer at Ferrari

Ferrari has announced a change in Charles Leclerc race engineer ahead of the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix. Xavier Marcos Padros, Leclerc longtime race engineer is being reassigned to new projects within Ferrari with Bryan Bozzi stepping in as Leclerc new race engineer. Bozzi who currently serves as Leclerc performance engineer will take over the role from the upcoming race at Imola.

The change marks the end of an era for Leclerc and Marcos Podras who has been instrumental in Leclerc successes including his five Grand Prix wins. Leclerc expressed gratitude to Podras for their years of collaboration. Bozzi who joined Ferrari in 2012 is transitioning into the role of race engineer for the first time highlighting the importance of race engineers in supporting drivers.

The shift in personnel mirrors changes happening across the grid such as Valtteri Bottas working with a new race engineer.
