Chelsea and Manchester City spent the most on agent fees in the Premier League with Chelsea paying out £75.1m and Manchester City £60.6m over the past year. Manchester United followed with £34m. Chelsea spending on transfers since 2022 under new ownership surpassed £1bn with a record breaking £115m for Moises Caicedo. Other top spenders on agent fees were Liverpool, Arsenal and Aston Villa.
Luton Town spent the least while Leeds United, Leicester City and Southampton, recently relegated from the Premier League spent the most in the Championship. Championship clubs collectively spent £61.3m compared to £5.1m in League One where Derby County topped the spending. Wrexham owned by Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney led League Two spending with £347,027 and Forest Green Rovers were the closest rivals spending £266,191.
