Chelsea Faces Hurdles in Pursuit of Brazilian Prodigy Estevao Willian ‘Messinho

Chelsea is expressing interest in 16-year-old Brazilian talent Estevao Willian, but faces challenges in securing the young winger, as per reports from the Mail. Negotiations with Palmeiras are ongoing, but the player comes with a substantial £51.5 million release clause, deterring potential suitors, including Barcelona.

Known as ‘Messinho’ for his technical prowess reminiscent of the eight-time Ballon d’Or winner, the teenager achieved recognition at a young age, becoming the youngest Brazilian player sponsored by Nike at just 10 in 2018. Estevao marked his senior debut for Palmeiras in December, earning the distinction of being the club’s fourth-youngest player.
