Red Bull team principal, Christian Horner has been cleared of allegations of inappropriate and controlling behavior towards a female colleague following an internal investigation. Red Bull stated that they are confident in the fairness, rigor and impartiality of the investigation. Horner who has led Red Bull since 2005 denied the allegations and will continue in his role.
The details of the accusations and investigation remain confidential. The decision by Red Bull comes after an eight weeks investigation and the complainant has the right to appeal. The allegations had surfaced on February 5 and the investigation’s duration had drawn criticism from Ford, Red Bull’s future engine partner.
