Conor McGregor Teases UFC 300 Comeback Amidst Fight Announcement Speculation

Conor McGregor’s return to MMA remains unconfirmed but he hinted at a possible appearance at UFC 300 on April 13. Despite CEO Dana White stating two fight announcements are pending for the anniversary card, McGregor’s fight with Michael Chandler expected after The Ultimate Fighter Season 31 has not been revealed.

White ruled out McGregor’s return until the final third of 2024. McGregor shared a clip on Instagram of White announcing his entrance for a press conference fueling speculation. Meanwhile, former UFC champion Daniel Cormier drew parallels between rising contender Ilia Topuria’s confidence and McGregor’s approach before his title fight with Jose Aldo at UFC 194.

Cormier compared Topuria’s self assurance to McGregor’s suggesting a potential star in the making. Topuria set to face Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 298 has already updated his Instagram bio claiming the UFC championship and a 15-0 record although he is currently 14-0.
